Marseille Provence Airport:

The international Marseille-Provence Airport is about 25 minutes from the centre of Marseille. It links 83 cities in 30 countries; a daily flight to Paris departs every half hour.

Airport Shuttle:

A shuttle bus between the airport and Marseille Saint-Charles Train Station departs every 20 minutes. Duration of trip: approximately 25 minutes depending on traffic.

Access by train

Marseille has a direct fast train connection (TGV) between Marseille Saint-Charles station and Paris Gare de Lyon station – 3 hours and/or Paris Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport station 3h30.

The Saint Charles Metro Station (line 2) is located directly below the train station.

Access by car

  • From Fos, Martigues, Arles, Montpellier, Toulouse, Barcelone: Use Highway A55
  • From Cassis, Toulon, Nice, Milan, Turin, Gènes: Use Highway A50
  • From Aix en Provence, Lyon, Paris, Bruxelles: Use Highway A7

In Marseille, Prado-Carénage tunnel provides:

  • A direct link between highways A55 & A50
  • Fast access to Parc Chanot from A55
  • Only five-minute drive across the city centre

Marseille Public Transportation System (RTM)

There are two metro lines and two tramway lines serving Marseille, as well as an extensive bus service covering the whole city.

Metro Lines 1 and 2:

First departure time: 5:00 AM from all terminus.

Last departure time: 10:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and 0:30 AM on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Take Metro Line 2 (Red) towards Sainte-Marguerite Dromel to the Rond Point du Prado Station.

Free maps and guides are available at the information desks and in the main subway stations: La Rose, St Just, Réformés, Saint Charles, Vieux Port, Estrangin, Castellane, La Timone, Bougainville, Joliette, Noailles, Rond Point du Prado and Ste Marguerite.

Bus stop “Rond Point du Prado” is the closest to the Palais des Congrès Parc Chanot.

Take Lines 21, 22, 22s, 23, 41s, 44, 45, 72 or 83.

Tramway (2 lines):

First departure time: 5:00 AM from all terminus.
Last departure time: 0:30.
