Publications

The MT-22 organizers are pleased to partner with the IEEE Council on Superconductivity to publish select peer-reviewed papers of the conference in the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity.  This partnership continues a solid tradition of maintaining the contributions of the conference participants in an archival, peer-reviewed, fully indexed and searchable journal.

Additionally, the IEEE CSC has agreed to make available on DVD the full proceedings and other published materials of all previous MT conferences, from its inception in the 1960s through the 2009 MT-21 conference held in Hefei, China.  All conference participants will receive this complimentary DVD upon arriving at the conference center in Marseille.

In order to make scientific information regarding the MT-22 conference available very rapidly, oral presentations will be available on line just after the Conference for participants only.

Instructions for authors

Manuscripts submitted at MT-22 will be peer-reviewed and, if accepted, published in a special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity. Manuscripts will be submitted electronically using the IEEE ScholarOne software, which will be available on this web page by 16 August 2011.  The manuscript submission deadline is 13 September 2011 and is firm.  A limited number of computers will be made available at the conference location for uploading of papers from 11 – 13 September 2011.

Manuscripts associated with a submitted oral or poster presentation are limited to four pages.  This limit is firm and there is no possibility to add additional pages for an extra fee.  Manuscripts for an invited oral are limited to six pages, and those for a plenary are limited to twelve pages.  An additional page is allowed but may only include references. The format of the paper must follow the IEEE Transactions guidelines which can be found in the MT-22 Instructions to Authors, below.  A template for users of Microsoft Word may be downloaded here.

In order to submit the manuscript, the paper must be presented in an oral or poster session (poster authors must attend their session), and be accompanied by a publication voucher code (unique 8 digit paper ID received after successful registration).  Each conference participant will be given a unique paper ID at time of conference registration, and the participant must be an author on the paper for which the code is being used.  Submission of a second paper must be accompanied by an additional full registration fee; contact info@mt22.org for details.
